NanoBioTouch, Europe’s most advanced tactile sense research programme

The research into Nano-engineering biomimetic tactile sensors is a collaborative research project funded by the European Commission under its Seventh Framework Programme, our exciting and state of the art research is now in its 2nd phase.

NanoBioTouch (Nano-resolved multi-scan investigations of human tactile sensations and tissue engineered nanobiosensors) is a small/medium scale focussed collaborative project funded by the EU under their FP7 programme.

This 48 month project started on 1st January 2010. The main scientific aims are to radically improve understanding of the human mechano-transduction system and tissue engineered nanobiosensors.
